RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS Team Hadri - Elite Sparring Squad was competing at the British Masters Championships (20/02/2010). Results: 2nd Place Team Tropy & 15 Medals. An absolutely fantastic day with 17 Team Hadri Elite players out for some action. The team returned 15 Medals, 7 x Gold, 3 x Silver and 5 x Bronze medals.  Video clips and pictures will be up soon. __________________________________________________________________ Hadri Taekwondo In The Media - Saturday 31st October 2009 Hadri Taekwondo celebrated to last weeks successes at the Southern Taekwondo Championships. The club was visited by local Councillor Abjol Miah and members of the press including Bangladesh TV Channel S, East End Life and more. Medals were presented to all the winners by councillor Miah who gave an inspiring talk to members of the club that attended. Another fantastic display with some brilliant matches. The team returned with 5 Golds, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. Video clips and details are available on the club blog. __________________________________________________________________ Hadri Taekwondo Elite Fighting Team came back from the UTF British International (July 2009) in Crawley with 2 Golds, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze. A fantastic result and some couragous matches were fought on the day. Well done Team Hadri. _______________________________________________________________ BTCB National Championships 2009 Congratulations to John who won a well deserved Gold Medal at the BTCB National Championships 2009. GENERAL CLASS INFORMATION HADRI TAEKWONDO'S CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE BISHOP CHALLONER SCHOOL Hadri Taekwondo has selected Bishop Challoner School to create a Centre of Excellence for WTF Olympic Style Taekwondo in Tower Hamlets - East London. The classes are taught by highly qualified and experienced instructors with qualifications matched by very few in the UK. Master Esrar Ahmed has developed the fantastic “Little Dragons Program” for children aged 4 - 9 years old. The program has had such amazing success that a new class is due to open in 2010 to cater for more students. Call now to book a space for your child. The Adults/ Junior classes are for students 10 + years. ABOUT HADRI TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art, which is known for its spectacular array of fluid and powerful kicks. Complemented with blocks, punches and flowing foot work, Taekwondo practitioners can easily defend against any type of attack.

In Taekwondo one will improve fitness, stamina and strength through vigorous workouts and exercise routines, flexibility through dynamic and static stretching, mental strength through poomse (patterns) and meditation. People of all ages and types can participate in this truly excellent martial art and olympic sport.

Hadri Taekwondo was formed in July 1994 by Master Ensar Ahmed and the first class opened in Walthamstow followed by a second class in Aldgate - East London. Hadri Taekwondo was named after a great warrior whose fighting spirit and courage runs through the veins of the club. Hadri Taekwondo currently holds classes in Walthamstow and Whitechapel East London. We are a friendly, hard working, energetic club with around 150 members from as young as 4 and as old as 55. We often compete in local and national competitions and encourage people to join Hadri Taekwondo even if you have no interest in competition.

All classes are taught by Kukkiwon qualified 5th Dan Master and Head Instructor Esrar Ahmed and overseen by 5th Dan Master Ensar Ahmed. We also have assistant instructors at all our class to ensure all classes are managed properly. Hadri Taekwondo Instructors are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and will provide students with high quality martial arts instruction and a safe environment for anyage or sex to train in.

         • To create champions and world class competitors.
         • To improve physical fitness and mental discipline.
         • To teach practical self defence skills.
         • To encourage people to take part in sports and martial arts.
