Name: Master Esrar Ahmed

Grade: 4th DAN Black Belt

Started training: May 1990

Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Senior Instructor

Background: Master Esrar is responsible for teaching all the classes and the day to day running of the club. He has been training in Taekwondo for 15 years and have been teaching for the last 10 years.

Master Esrar gained his instructors qualification from the World Taekwondo Seoul Academy Korea in July 2000 and also holds a instructors qualification from the British Taekwondo Control Board (BTCB) and the British Taekwondo Council (BTC).

Master Esrar has taken part in 25+ competitions at local, national and international level and won many trophies and medals over the years. Now his focus is on passing this knowledge and experience on to his students.

Name: Master Ensar Ahmed

Grade: 4th DAN Black Belt

Started training: May 1990

Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Head Instructor

Background: Master Ensar is the Head Instructor at Hadri Taekwondo and he oversees the overall running and development of the club. He has been training in Taekwondo for 15 years and teaching for the past 11 Years.

Master Ensar started the club in July 1994 at a local community centre in Walthamstow with just a handful of students and then opened the second class in the summer of 1997 at the Toynbee Hall in Aldgate. With hard work, help and support from the local community and parents both classes are running successfully with new students joining all the time.

Master Ensar is currently focusing on training the clubs assistant instructor to teach classes so they too can open up their own classes.

 

Name: Kibria Miah

 Grade: 1st DAN Black Belt

 Started training: July 1999

 Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Instructor

Background: Kibria is the Instructor of Hadri Taekwondos Wednesday class and also provides assistance in Tuesday and Saturday classs.

Besides Kibria's love for Taekwondo he also enjoys playing football, running and travelling abroad. Kibria has a great passion for Taekwondo and is a mentor for many students at Hadri Taekwondo.

Name: Kashim Chowdhury

Grade: 1st DAN Black Belt

Started training: Oct 1993

Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Senior Assistant Instructor

Background: Kashim is one our Senior Instructors at the Saturday class. He is one our most senior and experienced members of the club. Kashim is a hardworking and enthusiastic individual and always pushes himself to the limit.

Kashim says: I have been training in Taekwondo for nearly 12 years. During that period Taekwondo has given me confidence, energy and enthusiasm to aspire in other areas of my life. For example I have achieved 2 degrees (including MSc) and gaining 6 A-levels in one year. I know I have gained my achievement because of the motivation and encouragement from my instructor and the strength of character Taekwondo has given me.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and driving my Peugeot 206. I love training and hope I can continue till i am an old man.

 

Name: Reza Hoque

 Grade: 1st DAN Black Belt

 Started training: Nov 1996

 Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Assistant Instructor

Background: Reza is one of our Assistant instructors at Hadri Taekwondo Saturday class. Reza loves a challenge and nothing challenges him more then a full contact sparring session.

Reza says: I have been training in Taekwondo since I was a little kid and it has kept me fit healthy and given me some much confidence. I am hoping to continue training and soon become an instructor and open up my own club. What I love most about Taekwondo is sparring. It’s a great way to put my mind and body to the test and challenge other in the class.

 

Name: Ruqayyah Rajput

 Grade: 1st DAN Black Belt

 Started training: Sept 2000

 Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Assistant Instructor

Background: Ruqayyah is one of the assistant instructors at Hadri Taekwondo’s Tuesday class. Ruqayyah is a hard working, disciplined and focused individual. After gaining her 1st DAN Black Belt she is now focusing on training hard opening her own classes.

Ruqayyah says: Hiya, when I first started Taekwondo I watched the seniors perform and thought wow. Having a Black belt around my waist was unimaginable but I was determined to reach their level. 5 years down the road I am Black Belt and I am extremely happy that I joined this club. My Instructors have taught me so much. I am far more disciplined, confident and my fitness has improved immensely.

I love training at Hadri Taekwondo because everyone is training together, challenging each other and it’s a great friendly environment. The training can sometimes be really tough but it’s a great challenge I have learnt through Taekwondo that if you really want to get far you have to push yourself. I would definitely recommend Taekwondo to everyone I would never consider stopping training.

 

Name: Salahah Ahmed

 Grade: 1st Poom Black Belt

 Started training: Feb 2000

 Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Assistant Instructor

Background: Salahah is one of the assistant instructors at Hadri Taekwondo’s Tuesday Class. Salahah is young, passionate and always full on energy. She has a passion for Taekwondo and loves training.

Salahah Says: I think the classes are great, everyone is really nice and friendly that’s what makes training easy and enjoyable. When I first started Taekwondo I just wanted to become a black belt, now that I have achieved this my next aim now is to train even harder and to become a Master.

My favourite aspect of Taekwondo is self-defence work. I love the challenge learning new techniques and learning how applying them in a real situation. I am currently learning how to teach and hope to open my own class soon…Watch this space……

 

Name:Abdullah Rajput

 Grade: 1st Poom Black Belt

 Started training: Sept 2000

 Role at Hadri Taekwondo: Assistant Instructor

Background: Abdullah is one of our youngest Black Belts and always fully of energy and spirit. He joined Hadri Taekwondo at the age of 7 and with hard work and continued support from his parents he gained his Black Belt after 5 years.

Abdullah Says: When I first started Taekwondo it was tough, it took me some time to understand what I was doing. After a great deal of training and sweating I have finaly achieved my black belt and am really happy I kept it up.

My Instructors have always been very helpful and supportive which helped me achieve my goals. My aim to continue training hard and maybe one day become a Grand Master.
