Held every two years, it’s coming to Manchester for the very first time and will take over the renowned Manchester Arena from 15-19 May 2019 bringing together over 1,000 of the World’s best athletes.
All five days will see the best take on each other in on-off matches across seven taekwondo octagons. Then, once the evening sessions begin, each day will have semi-final and final matches in a cauldron-like atmosphere. The lights get turned down and the walk-on music turned up, bringing us thrilling and inspiring sporting moments that you will not want to miss!
GB’s Olympic medallists Jade Jones, Bianca Walkden and Lutalo Muhammad will all be working hard to secure more medals here and gain valuable preparation time ahead of Tokyo 2020. In the arena’s party atmosphere, they’ll be looking to the crowd to add some extra fire!
